40 Knots Winery

Here in the heart of the Comox Valley on beautiful Vancouver Island, 40 Knots Estate Winery and Vineyard is set upon a lovely coastal 24 acre property where they grow and produce all of their wines. The 40 Knots team is passionate about producing 100% Vancouver Island grown wine, and currently they have Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Gamay Noir, Schoenberger, Auxerrois, and Siegerrebe growing on the property. The 40 Knots name was inspired by this seaside location where they believe that the forces of nature are a play...With the salty air, strong coastal winds and a unique micro-climate, 40 Knots Winery produces incredible wine that is as unique as the terroir in which it is grown.

With approximately 95% estate grown product, 40 Knots Estate Winery just recently released their first white blend "Whitecaps", which is a delicious blend of Pinot Gris and Schoenberger and also their newest Rose which is a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay Noir...AND just in time for the holiday season, "Spindrift " brut is now available as their first sparkling... produced in the traditional French method with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay...

A lovely patio overlooking the vines offers a wonderful place to have picnics, corporate events, and gatherings of all kinds in the summer, and the Tasting Room and Wine Shop is open seasonally for wine samples, gift baskets, and wine related gift ideas, family gatherings or get-togethers.
